Seventy fifth Anniversary of Independence was celebrated with all pomp and glory. Smt. Sathi M. Kurup, Principal, hoisted the national flag. Dr Mahesh Mangalat, Associate Professor of Malayalam, MGGA College, Mahe, delivered the fifth lecture of the of the series. The topic was Mahe and the Freedom Struggle. He spoke about the brave freedom fighters of Mahe and their courage and determination which finally brought an end to the French rule. Ms Shiny K C gave the welcome address. Kumari Bhavni Dileesh (Std. X) administered the pledge. Ashwika Pradeep Kumar ( X B ) and Shreya Jithesh ( VII C) spoke in English while Mirza Musthaffa Soopy (Std X) spoke in Malayalam and Sreaya G T (Std IX C) in Hindi. Sri K. P. Rajesh Kumar, President, PTA, Mrs. Sathi M Kurup, Principal, Mr. V. K. Sudheesh, Mr. P. Priyesh, Mr. V.P. Mohanan, Vice Principals, and Mr P.P. Vondan,Adminstrative Officer, were present on the occasion. Ms. Jishi Rajesh, Teacher, gave the vote of thanks.
