National Science Day

National Science Day is celebrated on 28th February to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian scientist Sir C.V. Raman on February 28th 1928. At Excel Public School the day was observed with various activities. In the morning assembly students of Std. IV demonstrated various simple experiments. Students of Std. III and IV made paper rockets while students of Std V and VI made simple Science models. A seminar was held for students of Std VII and VIII. The seminar was conducted by Sri. M.P. Sanil Kumar, National teacher award winner. Students of Std V and VI conducted a science exhibition. A poster making competition was also held and the posters were exhibited in the school atrium.
