Colour Day was celebrated in a colourful way by the tiny tots of Excel Public School. Children dressed in the colour assigned to them spoke about the importance of each colour and presented various programmes bringing happiness to their parents and teachers. Colour is one of the most noticeable attributes of the world around us. For children understanding colour is an essential building block they will use for learning in all areas of life. Recognizing the colour and identifying the colour names is an important part of child's development. Early identification of colours helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words.
