Chhau Dance at Excel

SPIC MACAY's Chhau Dance performance was held at Excel Public School Mahe. The students got a rare opportunity to witness this dance form. Chhau dance presents scenes from epics such as Mahabharata and Ramayana. It is a folk dance form included in the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Chhau is a colorful presentation with an emphasis on athleticism, martial arts and drills.
