Aksharakoottam Kalasahithya Vedi, an initiative of Malayalam Department, Excel Public School, Mahe, conducted various programmes Remembering Basheer on his death anniversary on 5th July 2021. Basheer's daughter, Ms Shahina Basheer and son Sri Anees Basheer remember their father and share their experiences. Renowned writer Sri Veeran Kutty also remembers Basheer on this day.
