As the Olympics competitions were taking place in Tokyo, the excitement and thrill reverberated in the school. The Physical Education Department conducted various competitions for the students and the teachers to keep the spirit alive. Quiz on Olympics for students and teachers, Predict the Winner, Medal Tally etc. were a few competitions held in connection with this. The celebration concluded with a webinar on Olympics History and Indian Contribution. Sri.Sajindran C, lecturer in Physical Education, IKKHSS, Pandakkal and Chief Coordinator, Mahe District Cricket Association gave an interesting and informative talk on the origin and history of Olympics. Sri. Anand Kumar Parambath, retired lecturer and well known quiz master highlighted the contribution of India in the Olympics. In the interactive session the students asked questions and cleared their doubts.
