National Wildlife Day - 02nd to 08th October 2021

02-Oct-2021

National Wildlife Week is a time to celebrate our nation’s incredible wildlife. Conserving and protecting our wildlife and their habitats not only saves animals and beautiful natural spaces for us to enjoy, it also saves our future. When we save wildlife, we save ourselves. The theme for this year’s Wildlife Week is, “Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planer.” The school NSS Unit, Science Club an Photography Club jointly organized a webinar on ‘Man-animal conflict”. The webinar was conducted by Sri G. Pradeep, Asst. Conservator of Forest, Social Forestry Division, Kannur. Through a presentation he highlighted the reasons for this conflict and the ways to minimize this. Students also interacted with the speaker.
