Inauguration of Excel Dent Care

Mahe Institute of Dental Sciences opens a Satellite Clinic - Excel Dental Care at Excel Public School, Mahe. The purpose of this satellite clinic is to create awareness among the children about the basic dental care methods and dental diseases and to make dental care available in the vicinity. GK Memorial Education Trust Chairman Shri P Mohan presided over the function, which was inaugurated by Dr Anil Melath, Principal, Mahe Institute of Dental Sciences. Dr. Rena Ephraim, Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, spoke on dental health and on what to eat and what not to eat. Mrs. Sathi M Kurup, Principal, welcomed the gathering. Administrative Officer Shri PP Vinodan spoke on the occasion. Vice Principal Shri Priyesh P gave the vote of thanks. Mr. V.K. Sudheesh , Vice Principal (Academic) Co-ordinator Mr. Sushanth Kumar VK and teachers were present. National Science Day 28-09-2022 National Science Day was observed on 28-02-2022. The meeting was inaugurated by Prof. Venkatasubramanian, Retd. Professor and HOD, Chemistry, MGGA College, Mahe. Ms. Subisha, Science teacher gave the welcome address. Ms Shiny K.C. English teacher introduced the chief guest. Prof. Venkatasubramanian spoke on the importance of having a scientific attitude. He said that it is important to be systematic in doing anything. We should remember that our approach in utilizing the natural resources should be a sustainable one. We should think of the future generations. Mr V.K. Sudheesh, Vice Principal, Mr V.K. Sushanth Kumar, Coordinator, Mr Pavithran and other teachers were present on the occasion. Ms. Minija.. HOD of Dept. of Science gave the vote of thanks. International Mother Language Day Mahe Excel Public School NSS Unit and Malayalam Section Aksharakoottam Kala Sahitya Vedi organized the International Mother Language Day Celebration on 21-02-2022 with various programs. Malayalam section chief Venudas Mokeri inaugurated the program. Sasikumar Ravipuram administered the language oath. NSS volunteer Fatimathul Sama Ashraf welcomed the gathering. Mr. Sureshan, NSS Program Officer, VK Sudheesh, Vice Principal, Mr Pavithran and Ms. Shiny KC, teachers, were present on the occasion. VK Sushant Kumar, Co-ordinator, flagged off the school book cart. Poetry singing, storytelling, lecturing, etc. were also held as part of the program. NSS volunteer Kumari Afrin Asif gave the fvote of thanks. Newspaper Challenge. Under the auspices of ExcelPublic School, NSS Unit, a newspaper challenge was launched and collected old newspapers, notebooks etc to raise money for the treatment of a 14 year old girl, Nafeesa Nashfa, suffering from blood cancer. NSS volunteers and other students joined in this humanitarian gesture by bringing old newspapers, magazines and note books.
