Swachh Vidyalalya Puraskar

Excel Public School, Mahe, has bagged the covetous Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar – District Level for the year 2021. The school got awards in six categories, viz. Toilets, Hand washing with soap, Operation and Maintenance, Behaviour Change and Capacity Building, Covid 19 (Preparedness and Response) and Water. The school also received Overall Award in the District Level in Secondary Category. Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar is instituted by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India to recognize, inspire and celebrate excellence in Sanitation and Hygiene practice in schools. This is the second year the school receives the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar.
