International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 27-06-2022 In connection with International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking the School NSS unit and Dept of English conducted an awareness programme in the school assembly. Smt. Sathi M. Kurup, Principal inaugurated the programme and spoke about drug abuse. Principal advised the students not to be lured to drugs and told them how difficult it would be to come out if one falls into the trap of drugs and how it disrupts the family. Kumari Gopika Byjou of Std. IX spoke about the harmful effects of drugs. Students of Std X gave a demonstration with placards against drugs and pledged they would not use drugs. Various activities like Poster Painting, Elocution and Essay writing competitions were held to mark the occasion.
